practice schedule when school starts - 3:00 - 5:30, Wednesday 1:00-3:00
Players are expected to have cleats, running shoes, shin guards for every practice and tryout. Players need to drink lots of water prior to each training.

Soccer Fitness Test and Summer Training Schedule
VARSITY PLAYERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO PASS THE FOLLOWING PRESEASON FITNESS TEST.

1 Mile (range 5:45-6:00)
(1 minute off)
½ mile (range 3:00-3:15)

Summer training ( 3 day cycles )---for June
DAY 1
- timed running- 20 minutes at a comfortably hard pace. Goal is to increase your distance over the summer weeks.
- Weight training- chest, biceps, triceps, back, shoulders, and legs. Low weight with higher rep counts. Goal--Strength and tone, not bulk.
- Soccer training- 30 minutes with a soccer ball
DAY 2
- LIGHT 3 mile run
- Abs and ball work
DAY 3 (ANAEROBIC TRAINING)
- 6X400 ( ¼ MILE) EACH UNDER 1:40 ( minute off in between)
- 4X200 ( 1/8 MILE) EACH UNDER :55 ( minute off in between)
- LIGHT mile/1.5 mile jog
- Abs and ball work
DAY 4—OFF

For July
Day 1 training-increase running time to 2x12 minutes ( 3 to 4 minute stretch in between)
Day 2 training- SAME
Day 3 training-lower 1/4 mile times to 1:35 and 1/8 mile to :50
For August
Day 1 training- increase running time to 2x15 minutes ( 3 to 4 minute stretch in between)
Day 2 training- SAME
Day 3 training- lower ¼ mile to 1:30 and 1/8 mile to :45
